For those of you who don’t know, prepare yourselves… 

My dad has become very poorly, two months ago he was thriving and lived life as normal before being diagnosed with cancer. We were left in the dark for so long to point where we had to push harder for my dad to be seen. He was admitted to hospital about two weeks ago when we all watched how much better he was looking! 

To then find out last Thursday we only have a few weeks left with him, so we are going to spend every last minute with him. Bring him home to be comfortable 

With this in mind of course we wanted him to do the treatment, I wanted my dad to walk me down the aisle and to go car shopping with Charlie my younger brother. So we have all said no we don’t give up. from this point onwards we fight as hard as we can, because everyone needs Stuart Ewing. Not just us as a family.

Watching your own dad shrink in size and become weaker in front of your eyes is the most traumatic event yet to happen in my life. 

No one ever knows how long they left with loved ones but for us we know roughly how long we have left to tell this cancer to sod off and go pick on someone your own size. 

We will count every day and spend every moment we can becuase for me I want my dad forever which I know I can’t have now. 

His friends at freshsoundz radio have created a go fund me page to help support his family in the future for when he can no longer provide for them, and to help support my dad before he’s gone.

I am most grateful for all the memories made and for knowing how long I left, and prepare myself for the day he watches over us up in the clouds. Some people don’t even get a goodbye so I will forever be grateful for the time I have.

If you need some hugs our door is always open for visitors. Dad is open for visitors in hospital although he could be home this week!
